Introduction: In the last 20 years most assessments of the viscosity of propane in the dense fluid region were confined to limited temperature and pressure ranges. Thus the correlation by Tanaka as restricted to the gas phase between 300 and 500 K and 0.1 and 55 MPa. Using graphical smoothing techniques. In the same year Holland et tri. developed a correlation within the temperature range 140- 500 K and the pressure range 0.1-50 MPa using the data available to them at that time. The latest representation by Younglove from 1987 has been extended from the triple point of 600 K and 100 lL1Pa based.
